◦ Our Story

A practice of quiet
attention.

◦ 01 / Origin

Every project begins with a line. For us, that line became FineLine Studio.
Founded in 2019 in Pune, FineLine Studio started with a simple belief — that thoughtful design has the power to transform the way people live, work, and experience spaces. What began as a small interior design practice, driven by passion, curiosity, and countless hours on site, has steadily evolved into a multidisciplinary design studio undertaking architectural and interior projects across India. Our early years were built on trust. One home led to another. One satisfied client became a referral. Every project, regardless of its size, was approached with the same commitment to detail, functionality, and timeless aesthetics. Those foundations continue to define us today. As our experience grew, so did our vision. The scale of our projects expanded from carefully crafted interiors to complete architectural developments, luxury residences, commercial spaces, and holistic design solutions. Yet, our approach remained unchanged — listening deeply, designing thoughtfully, and creating spaces that truly belong to the people who use them. Today, while our roots remain firmly grounded in Pune, our work reaches across India. Every project is an opportunity to blend creativity with practicality, aesthetics with functionality, and dreams with reality. At FineLine Studio, we believe that great design is more than what meets the eye. It is about shaping experiences, nurturing connections, and creating spaces that stand the test of time. Our story is still being written — one line, one space, and one meaningful project at a time.

From a single line to spaces that inspire.

◦ 02 / Convictions

A few quiet convictions that shape every project.

  1. 01

Proportion, balance, and detail outlast trend.

  2. 02

A home should feel inevitable — as if it had always belonged.

  3. 03

Functionality and soul are not opposites. They are the same thing, well-resolved.

  4. 04

Great design treads lightly — on the planet, on the senses, and on the everyday.

◦ 03 / Process

How we work — six stages, one rhythm.

Every project we take on follows a clear process — not because design is linear, but because clients deserve to know what happens, when, and why. The stages overlap, but the rhythm doesn’t change.

Stage 01

Discovery

We listen first. Site visit, lifestyle conversation, brief — understanding how you live, work, and gather before any line is drawn.

Stage 02

Concept

Spatial intent, material direction, and design narrative — translated into mood boards, plans, and early 3D studies.

Stage 03

Design Development

Detailed drawings, finishes, custom furniture, lighting layers, and integrations — every element resolved before site work begins.

Stage 04

Documentation

Working drawings, material specifications, and vendor coordination — the technical foundation that makes execution effortless.

Stage 05

Execution

Site supervision, milestone reviews, and quality control — protecting the design intent through every stage of build.

Stage 06

Handover

Styling, snagging, and walkthrough — we hand over a home or space ready to be lived in, not a project ready to be finished.

◦ 04 / Services

What we do.

01

Interior Architecture

Residential interiors crafted around how families actually live — calm layers, custom millwork, considered light.

02

Architecture

Bungalows and homes designed from the ground up, with a focus on context, climate, and the long arc of how a building ages.

03

Commercial & Retail

Offices, retail, and mixed-use that earn first impressions — sleek finishes, sophisticated ambience, spaces that work as hard as they look.

04

Landscape & Master Planning

Outdoor environments and site-scale planning that extend the architectural language beyond the building line.
