◦ The Brief
“A tight timeline, and a houseful of furniture the couple already owned — the design had to make the pieces they were keeping feel chosen rather than carried over.”
◦ The Approach
Designed for a young couple, this home leans into a warm, lively aesthetic that matches how they actually live. The studio planned around the existing furniture from the outset, letting it set the palette instead of working against it — every new element measured so the old and the new read as one decision. Eclectic moves carry the personality: a tiled dining table, a gallery of artisanal plates, and a sleek divider that hides a bar unit while separating the entrance from the gathering spot. Natural wood finishes ground soft neutral walls, pops of blue lift them, and layered lighting keeps the rooms cheerful after dark. Delivered quickly, but nothing about it reads rushed.
◦ In their words

“Right from the start they visited the house, took pictures, and understood how every corner could feel — before a single design conversation.”

“My husband wanted something simple. I wanted poppy. They found a blend that's both of us.”

“The dining space is where we let the poppy come through. The rest of the house holds back so it can sing.”

“The wooden flooring was their idea — and it changed the entire feel of the house.”

“Even after the project was done, they were still helping us move in. It felt like family.”
