“One design language, many personalities — a young family's home where every room had to feel like its own person without breaking the thread that runs through the house.”
◦ The Approach
Evara was envisioned as a warm and timeless home built around the rhythms of daily living. The studio's task was to give each room a distinct character while holding the whole in a single vocabulary — and to find storage everywhere without letting the interiors lose their openness. The mandir folds into the wardrobe of the grandmother's room, sandwiched shutters keeping it sacred but unannounced; a Murphy bed lets the space turn over when the family gathers to pray. Custom joinery does the quiet work throughout, absorbing function so the rooms stay light. Natural oak and walnut veneers, fluted glass, muted stone, and brushed brass carry the palette from the children's playful corners to the calm of the master — individual, but unmistakably one home.
